Apple and Pumpkin Picking near Chester
I'm looking to bring the kids apple and pumpkin picking one of these weekends. Alstede Farms is pretty insane this time of year, so I was looking to go some where else.
Anyone know of other places in the area that aren't as crazy?

You can try Stony Hill Gardens ( http://www.stonyhillgardens.com/) and Ort Farms, but they both tend to get busy on the weekends.
I keep seeing cider at the supermarket, but I need to pick up some local fresh stuff. I must add it to my todo list for this weekend.

SUN HIGH ORCHARDS i think that's the correct name. it's in Randolph they have short trees so it's easy for children to pick. we ust to goto Riamede but it's to busy and the owner is really rude. they also have a bakery inside that is open year round that has great stuff.
