No 4th Term for Chester Township Mayor

Benjamin Spinelli has decided not to seek re-election to a fourth term as mayor, leaving two Republican candidates vying for the seat in the June primary.

William Asdal and William A. Cogger, who both go by "Bill," filed for the Republican nomination Monday. No Democrats filed to run, so, unless an Independent files to run for the seat by 4 pm on June 5, the winner of the Republican primary will become the next mayor.
