American Legion passing out Poppies

The Bernays Apgar American Legion Post and its Ladies Auxiliary will be passing out poppies at the Chester Springs Shopping Center near the Shop Rite and across the street at Dunkin Donuts to honor Memorial Day.
The poppies will be handed out during the morning and afternoon hours of May 24th to May 26th. The funds raised will be used to support programs at Lyon's Veterans Hospital as well as local programs in the schools and the Boy and Girl Scouts.
Donations will be accepted upon receipt of a poppy but they can also be mailed directly to Bernays Apgar Post 324 is American Legion Post 342, Box 342, Chester, NJ 07932.
