Chester Memorial Day Observance

Chester will host its annual community Memorial Day observance on Monday, May 28th at 11:00 am at the Maysey Memorial on Main Street in front of the Firehouse.
The ceremony will feature the Pledge of Allegiance led by local Scouts, a few speeches, patriotic music, a rifle salute and wreath-laying, and conclude with the playing of "Taps." The ceremony will be preceded by a line of march from the Gazebo, where participants should gather around 10:30.
All community organizations are invited to participate in the march. Organizations young and old should contact Jacki Spinelli (908-879-2548) to register and for further information. The public is welcome to the ceremony honoring our fallen soldiers.
