Multi-car collision sends five to hospital

A five car pile-up on Route 206 South injured five people and shut down southbound 206 for several hours, snarling traffic for miles, borough police said.

Details of the accident were not immediately available Saturday afternoon, but police said the crash was a chain reaction collision that occurred on Route 206 approximately 300 feet north of the intersection with Route 24 at 10:45 a.m.
